This position is responsible for the overall management and coordination of all specifications and drawings to be used in the design and construction of emergency response vehicles, and serves as back up to the Bid Estimator position.

• Interpret emergency vehicle design plans and prepare specifications for the build process
• Ability to write technical descriptions specifying material qualities and properties
• Must have knowledge of material standards, build processes and manufacturing procedures

Other Functions
• Make notes in CAD files to correct or clarify specified material in coordination with design and details
• Conduct quality reviews of build documents while researching and preparing specifications
• Serves as back up to the Bid Estimator position
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education: AA degree in business or equivalent from an accredited college or two years of experience working as a Project Manager, or job cost estimator, or a position where the costing of goods and services, is required.
Position Requirements: This position requires the use of Microsoft software programs to include:
• Word – ability to format and merge documents
• Excel – ability to create and use spread sheets
• Access – ability to create, maintain, and merge to work documents
• Outlook – ability to use email and task portion of program
• Mechanical aptitude
• Keyboarding skills
Knowledge Requirements:
Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting programs, Project Management Principles, Lean Principles in manufacturing, and job costing.
