Emergency Response Vehicle Upholsterer

Braun Northwest, Inc. (BNW) is now hiring for an Emergency Response Vehicle Upholsterer in Chehalis, WA.

The schedule is Monday-Friday, 40hrs per week with a start time between 5:00am and 6:00am. This position is overtime eligible. The compensation for this position is $18-$24/hr DOE/DOQ.

BNW is looking for a skilled upholsterer to join our team in the Assembly Department. This position is responsible for completing a variety of upholstery parts within our emergency response vehicle modules. Some of the typical tasks include measuring, cutting, and assembling form fit upholstered pad for emergency vehicles.

In order to be successful in this position, the candidate must have:

• the ability to efficiently use small hand tools, lift or hold objects overhead in order to build interior seating.
• the ability to use upholstery techniques and comprehend work instructions, schematic drawings and follow verbal and written instructions.
• the ability to accurately use a tape measure, read, write and perform basic math skills.
• the ability to work in a team setting, and meet assembly time and quality standards.
• the ability to regularly stand, sit, and crawl through modules in order to complete tasks.
