Emergency Response Vehicle Craftsman/Assembler

Braun Northwest, Inc. (BNW) is now hiring for an Emergency Response Vehicle Craftsman in Chehalis, WA.

The schedule is Monday-Friday, 40hrs per week with a start time between 5:00am and 6:00am. This position is overtime eligible. The compensation for this position is $18-$25/hr DOE/DOQ.

BNW is looking for a craftsman builder to join our team in the Assembly Department. This position is responsible for installing a variety of components within our emergency response vehicle modules. Some of the typical tasks include cutting and installing vinyl flooring, wall panels, insulation, and various aluminum and stainless-steel trim to specifications and drawing requirements. These positions also build and install interior cabinet windows and doors, interior and exterior lighting, as well as exterior windows and doors.

In order to be successful in this position, the candidate must have:

• the ability to use a variety of hand tools to install, cut and manufacture various module parts.
• the ability to accurately use a tape measure and perform basic math skills.
• the ability to lift or hold objects overhead in order to assemble and install module parts.
• the ability to regularly stand, sit, and crawl through modules in order to complete tasks.
• knowledge of basic carpentry principles, basic principles of design and assembly techniques is preferred.
